Questions, answered straight.

What your agent can and can't touch, how your data is handled, what it costs, and how to leave. If your question isn't here, text it to us.

The basics

What is Text Agent?

A personal AI agent that runs your email and calendar from your text messages. You connect your inbox once, then text the agent to forward emails, schedule meetings, summarize threads, get a morning brief, and more. No app to download. No new login. It works on any phone over SMS or iMessage.

Does it work with Gmail? Outlook? iCloud?

Gmail and Outlook / Microsoft 365 are fully supported for email, through Google's and Microsoft's own sign-in. For scheduling, Google Calendar, Outlook and Apple Calendar all work. Apple iCloud Mail is on the roadmap and isn't supported yet.

Can I connect more than one inbox?

Yes. Connect one inbox or several, and your agent watches all of them.

Does the agent send email on my behalf without asking?

No. The agent drafts replies and shows them to you, and nothing leaves your account without your OK. You always have the last word on outbound.

How long does setup take?

About five minutes. You text the number, the agent texts back and walks you through signing in to your email and calendar, and you're running.

Security & privacy

Is it secure? How do I know you're legit?

You sign in with Google or Microsoft directly, so we never see or store your password. Because Text Agent can read and send Gmail, Google required us to pass a CASA (Cloud Application Security Assessment) before granting access: an independent, third-party audit of how we handle your data. We pay for that audit and renew it every year. See our Privacy Policy for the details.

Can the agent delete my email?

No. Your agent can't delete email. If you explicitly ask, it can move a message to your trash folder.

Do you sell my information?

No. We don't sell your data to advertisers, data brokers or any third party. The business is a flat $299 a year subscription, so we have no reason to monetize your data, and we won't.

Do you advertise to me?

No. There are no ads in your texts, no sponsored content and no tracking pixels. You pay for the service, and that's the whole business.

Do you train an AI model on my data?

No. Your email, your calendar and your conversations with the agent are never used to train any AI model. The reasoning runs on Anthropic's Claude API, and Anthropic's API policy is also no training on customer data. Your data is processed only to serve you, and kept only as long as your agent needs it to work.

How is my email and calendar data protected?

You connect through OAuth, so we never see or store your email password. Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Access tokens and cached data are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. The contents of your email are never written to our operational logs.

What permissions do you ask for on my email account?

Only what the job needs: read your inbox to find what's worth surfacing, send messages and save drafts when you direct it, mark messages read, move a message to trash when you explicitly ask, and read, add and move calendar events. It can't permanently delete email, and it doesn't touch your contacts or files.

If I revoke access, what happens?

Our access ends immediately on the provider side, whatever we do. You can revoke it any time from your Google account permissions, your Microsoft account apps, or your iCloud app-specific passwords.

New to AI agents?

What is an AI agent, in plain English?

Software that takes action on your behalf instead of only answering questions. Yours watches your inbox, drafts replies, books meetings, and texts you when something matters. You tell it what you want in plain text.

I've never used an AI agent before. Is this a good place to start?

Yes. If you can send a text, you can use it. You point the agent at the two things that already run your day, your email and your calendar, and work with it the way you'd work with a sharp assistant. There's no prompt engineering and no app to install.

What's the difference between this and ChatGPT?

ChatGPT is a chatbot: you open it, ask a question and get an answer. Text Agent works on your actual email and calendar. It watches what comes in, drafts replies, books meetings, and texts you first when something needs you. ChatGPT doesn't know who your boss is or what's on your calendar. Your agent does.

What can it actually do today?

Surface only the emails worth your attention. Draft replies in your voice for your OK. Work out a meeting time with several people and book it. Put the dates from anything you forward to it, like an itinerary or a contract, on your calendar. Give you a morning brief. Watch for a specific person's email and text you the moment it lands.

What can't it do yet?

It can't make voice calls yet, and Apple iCloud Mail isn't supported yet. It can read and summarize attachments, but it can't edit them. It never sends email on its own: every email goes out only with your OK. Updates ship roughly every two weeks, so most of these are “not yet.”

Pricing

How much does it cost?

$299 a year. One plan, one price, less than a dollar a day. The first 14 days are free, and you don't need a credit card to start.

Why so affordable?

Because that's what I'd pay for it, and I built it for myself. There's no tiered upsell and no Pro version holding back the useful features. Everyone gets the same product.

Do I need a credit card to start the trial?

No. You text the number, set up the agent and use all of it for 14 days. On day 14 the agent texts you a payment link, only if you want to keep going.

Cancel & delete your data

How do I cancel?

Text “cancel” to your agent. There's no phone tree and no retention script. We confirm and end the subscription.

How do I delete my data?

Text “delete my data” to your agent. We confirm, then erase everything. To close the account entirely, text “delete my account”. You can also revoke access from your provider's account settings, and our access ends immediately on their end.

If I cancel, do you keep my data?

Once you cancel and delete, your context and tokens are erased. Operational logs (timestamps and error traces, never message content) may be kept for up to 30 days for security and billing, then expire automatically.
