1. Who we are

textMyAgent is a text-message assistant that helps you manage your own calendar and email over SMS and iMessage. It is operated by KJ Bucketlist Inv, LLC. There is no app or dashboard — you interact with textMyAgent entirely through text messages.

2. Scope

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to your use of textMyAgent.

3. Information we collect

a. Account information. Your name, mobile phone number, and email address, collected when you sign up.

b. Content you send us. The messages you text us, and the information you ask us to remember (people, preferences, events, tasks, notes), plus any photos or documents you send or forward to your agent.

c. Connected-account data (only with your explicit consent). When you connect a calendar or email account, we access:

• Google — your Google Calendar (read/write) and, via the gmail.modify scope, your Gmail: we read and triage your inbox, send messages you direct, save drafts, and mark messages read. We never permanently delete your Gmail.
• Microsoft (Outlook) — your calendar and mail, to provide the same features.
• Apple/CalDAV — your calendar, via an app-specific password you provide over a secure web form.

We access only the account you connect, and you can disconnect at any time.

d. Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; Stripe handles payment data under its own terms.

e. Technical/usage data. Operational logs to run and secure the service. We do not write your email message contents to our logs.

4. How we use your information

We use your information solely to provide and improve the service for you:

• Reading, triaging, and answering questions about your inbox and calendar.
• Sending, drafting, or scheduling only what you explicitly direct — always shown to you and confirmed before anything is sent to a third party.
• Remembering what you tell us so the agent becomes more useful over time.
• Sending you the proactive updates you ask for (e.g., alerts, a morning brief).
• Billing, support, security, and legal compliance.

We do not use your Google or Microsoft data, or your message content, for advertising. We do not sell your personal information.

5. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the service:

• Service providers (processors) acting on our behalf: AWS (hosting, storage), Twilio and Sendblue (message delivery), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI reasoning), and the calendar/email providers you connect (Google, Microsoft, Apple). These providers are bound to use the data only to provide their service to us.
• People you choose to coordinate with. If you pair with another person, they (and their agent) see only what you explicitly share, under scoped, revocable permissions.
• Legal/safety. When required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We never sell your personal information and never share it for others' advertising.

6. Google API Limited Use disclosure

The use of raw or derived user data received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

textMyAgent's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• We only use Google user data to provide and improve user-facing features of textMyAgent.
• We do not transfer Google user data except as necessary to provide or improve those features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger/acquisition with appropriate protections.
• We do not use Google user data for advertising.
• We do not allow humans to read Google user data except: with your explicit consent (e.g., for support you request), where necessary for security or to comply with law, or where the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

7. AI processing

Reasoning is performed by Claude via the Anthropic API. Anthropic does not train its models on data submitted through its API. Memory search uses embeddings generated by AWS Bedrock. Your connected-account data is processed only to serve you.

textMyAgent does not retain or use data obtained through Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized (non-personalized) AI and/or machine-learning models. Google user data is used solely to provide the app's user-facing features to you.

8. Data retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Connected-account content is read on demand and cached only as needed to serve your request; the durable information we keep is limited to the facts, events, and history your actions create — all of which you can export or delete. When you disconnect an account, we revoke the access token and delete data synced from it. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data (subject to limited legal/operational retention).

9. Security

• Encryption in transit: TLS on all connections. Credentials never travel over SMS/iMessage.
• Encryption at rest: access tokens, refresh tokens, and app-specific passwords are AES-256-GCM encrypted; our database is encrypted at rest.
• Secrets management: credentials are stored in a managed secrets vault, never in source code, configuration files, or logs.
• Isolation & least privilege: one user per account; your data is isolated and accessible only to you and those you explicitly authorize.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.

10. Your rights and choices

• Access/export: text "export my data" to receive everything we store about you.
• Delete: text "delete my data" for a two-step confirmed deletion.
• Disconnect: disconnect any calendar/email account to revoke access and remove synced data.
• Opt out: text STOP at any time for an immediate, permanent opt-out of messages.
• Depending on where you live (e.g., California/CCPA, EU/UK/GDPR), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, and to lodge a complaint with a regulator. Contact [email protected] to exercise these rights. We do not sell or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws.

11. Children

textMyAgent is not directed to children under 18 and is not intended for their use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. International users

We operate in the United States; by using textMyAgent you understand your information is processed in the U.S. We apply the protections described here regardless of where you are.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; we will post the new effective date here and, for material changes, notify you by text or email. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
